Short Game

By | Jul 13, 2010

It can be difficult to focus when you are trying hard to win the game of golf. It is important to stay consistent with your swings, however, if you want to win. Golf can take a lot of effort, but there are some things that are important to remember.

One of those things is to remember to practice. Begin by practicing with a swing trainer so you can perfect your golf swing and golf stance. One part of being a good golfer is learning how to golf, and a swing trainer allows you to do that.

When you are on the golf course it is important to remember your short game. If you want to have a low golf hit, keep the middle of your chest in front of the ball. Your chest should be even with your back foot.

If you want to take a high shot your stance will obviously be different. The middle of your chest shouldn’t be in front of the ball, but rather even or behind it. High shots don’t give you as great a chance of consistency as low shots, so only use high shots once you have passed the beginners stage.

In the beginning, however, keep to the low shots. After your shot remember it is important to let the golf ball roll. It is a lot easier to see how well your ball is doing when you let it roll.

Remember what you have practiced with your swing trainer. Remember the specifics with hitting your golf ball. For example, be sure to hit the ball in the middle of your golf club.

Remember that you will have to deal with distance with your golf swings as well. To better handle the distance of your hit, be sure that your back swing and forward swing are the same. That will help you when you go to hit your golf ball.

When you practice these techniques you will find it will help you a lot with your short game. Remember that you don’t need to attack your golf ball to get it where you want it to go. It takes a lot of patience to perfect the art of golf, but it is well worth it.
